MICHELIN France

Overview

Michelin France wanted to create an e-Shop in order to give its visitors direct access to an online store from its corporate website.

The internet user could buy his tires online and have them fitted near his home in one of the many fitting centers of Michelin’s network.

3 main goals:

  • Generate conversion
  • Be in direct contact with consumers who wish to benefit from the expertise of Michelin’s network products and services
  • Offer a complete and innovative shopping process

Achievements

The eshop.michelin.fr website was launched on 18/04/2017, 3 months after the launch of the project.

Main characteristics :

  • 1 fully responsive website

  • 1 tire selector by size, vehicle and – News!- by category: Sedan – Super Sport – SUV – Utility
  • 1 online booking module

The site has been operational from April 2017 to July 2019 with a tire fitting service in fitting center in France.

MICHELIN also entrusted TYREDATING with the realization of the site tagging and the support for the data analysis.

Review

With this new E-Shop, MICHELIN has strengthened its leading position by significantly renewing its relationship with consumers. The agility of the TYREDATING technical solution has made it possible to realize this major project, disruptive in the manufacturing world respecting the time to market wished by MICHELIN.
