Overview

MICHELIN USA want to develops an e-shop for its tourism, 4X4 and van product line line in order to build a direct relationship with customers.

3 main goals:

  • Generate conversion
  • Be connected to the customers from the tire research to the purchase and then the fitting

  • Offer an innovative shopping experience

Achievements

shop.michelinman.com is launche in November 2016, 8 months only after the initiation of the project.

Main features : 

  • 1 responsive website

  • 1 tire selector by size, by vehicle and – new ! – by driving experience “search by how you drive” !

  • 1 online appointment booking module

Since end of 2016, the website is operational. For now, it is possible to have your tires delivered on a limited area of the country. The delivery zone will progressively extend to the whole country in order to develop the conversion.

MICHELIN has also been relying on TYREDATING for the completion of the website the realization of the website tagging and the support for the data analysis.

Review

Thanks to this new e-Shop, Michelin strengthens its leadership by significantly innovating in its relationship with consumers.

The Agility of the technical solution TYREDATING made in possible to run this large-scale and disruptive project in the manufacturer world, at the same time respecting the time-to-market required by MICHELIN.
