Tyredating is a provider of vertical e-retail solutions dedicated to tire and automotive services.
Tyredating SAS was founded in 2008 by Christophe Tesseraud in Lyon (Croix-Rousse), where the European Headquarters is currently situated.
In 2008, the POPGOM brand is launched as well as the first e-shops selling tires in Spain and France. The major innovation of this offer, including the on-line appointment for the tire-fitting, experiences an immediate success among the general public, crowning POPGOM as a leader of the pure players of the tire and associated services. The brand gradually deploys throughout Europe to be present in 14 countries.
In 2014, Tyredating puts its tire e-retail expertise to the service of international brands and develops its first ROPO (Research Online, Purchase Offline) sites for Euromaster Switzerland and Taquipneu in France.
The same year, Tyredating SAS becomes a fully-owned subsidiary of the Michelin Group.
In 2015, the first marketplace dedicated to the tire Vianeumaticos was born in Spain. The following year, Buscollantas marketplace is launched in Mexico. In 2016, this is the rise of new projects such as the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 pop-up store, Tyreplus in Thailand, the BFGoodrich e-shop in the United States, the Swiss Tire Group, Michelin USA online-shop.
In 2017, it is the confirmation of Tyredating’s take-off with several projects including the release of the aircraft tires website aircrafttireshop.com in February, but especially with the launch of the solution YepGarage, the e-commerce solution in ASP that allows Independent garages and auto centers to put their own ROPO site online in just a few clicks.
